Each Mylyn version supports several Eclipse platform versions following the policy documented in the integrator reference: http://wiki.eclipse.org/Mylyn_Integrator_Reference#Deciding_on_a_version. Support for older platform version ends regularly and is announced on mylyn-dev and this bug report. Please refer to the support page for commercial providers that may offer support for older versions: http://eclipse.org/mylyn/support/ .

Mylyn 3.7 will support Eclipse 3.6, 3.7, 3.8M3 and 4.2M3.

We haven't announced these changes in a few years, but the policy is documented on the wiki page, and in practice ending support for older Eclipse versions doesn't break anything, so I'm closing this.
