Hard coded tests as we have now can be difficult to maintain. Instead of, or in addition to the existing JUnit based tests we should add a data driven test facility.

e.g. would provide a way to specify a client request in terms of URI, method, headers and content and the expected response from that request in a data file.

Also could consider how resource shapes play a part of this, if available. Always possible to allow for local manually generated resource shapes to be used when a service provider doesn't support.

Bulk update: The future focus of Lyo test suites will for OSLC 3.0, likely using the same framework as the LDP test suite. We'll evaluate 2.0 test suite improvements based on usage and need.
