To reproduce:
Map the new repository (R4E Review ) in git to the R4E group. When pressing "Apply", it generates the error

Using a git repository to store R4E metadata is not supported for now.  However, it will need to be when we implement the storing of the metadata on the Gerrit server.

Mylyn has been restructured, and our issue tracking has moved to GitHub [1].

We are closing ~14K Bugzilla issues to give the new team a fresh start. If you feel that this issue is still relevant, please create a new one on GitHub.
