RSE client uses hardcode 8050 as default server port. If a RSE server uses different port, user has to change the port setting for each new connection. This is tedious and a source of confusion for new RSE users.

It will be very convenient if there is a way for a user to specify a new default(other that 8050) somewhere so new connection wizard automatically picks up the new default value. There is a preference setting for local RSE daemon port but not for remote RSE server port.
