Description Gary Karasiuk CLA 2003-04-02 08:46:15 EST
One of Eclipse's best kept secrets is the -data startup parameter. Many people
don't seem to know about this parameter and as a consequence end up with
workspaces that are much larger then they need to be. This can then lead to
poorer performance.

It would be very useful for Eclipse to include a utility that helped manage
workspaces. For example when starting Eclipse show a list of workspaces along
with an optional description, and let the user select the workspace that they
want to use.
