After registering for the conference, I received an email that says:

We look forward to seeing you November 2-4, 2011 at the Forum am Schlosspark, Ludwigsburg, Germany! 

Now that you have registered, we encourage you to add you name to the attendee list on the _Community page_ and don't forget to book your hotel room!

When I fill out Full Name, Job Title and Organization (leaving Interests blank) I see this after hitting "Apply":

No one has signed up for this event. Attendees will appear as they sign up.

.. and I am not listed.  Actually, even writing something in the Interests field causes the same outcome.

I think this has been fixed for the ECon 2012 NA Drupal site, so closing the bug.
