screenshot of project properties

See the attached screenshot. I checked org.eclipse.edt.eunit.test out of CVS (the kan-cvs-save.ottawa.ibm.com repository), then opened its properties and selected EDT Compiler. I checked the box for the Java Generator. Notice that the fields in the Java Generator tab aren't displayed properly.

The error only happened the first time I opened the properties.

This only happens if you have no generators selected initially and then select one. The UI needs to resize/repack when going from 0 generator tabs to 1 or more tabs. If you manually change the window size (even just a little), then it repacks the widgets.

fixed by re layout the page after every tab item is added.

Verified.
