There is the same issue in RBD. If user use “*” only to search Function References, there is no any results returned.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Import the PI in attachment
2. Go to EGL Search, set search for as "Function", Limit To as "References", search string as "*", Scope as Workspace. Then click Search button.

Actual results: There is no results returned. But it could return serveral results if user use "funcInLibLev2" as search string instead.

Deferring to 1.0 - this is a low priority defect that also occurs in RBD
