Description Alvaro Sanchez-Leon CLA 2011-09-28 10:43:24 EDT
The R4E preferences has several tabs e.g. user, groups, filters, etc..
When switching among these tabs a common "Restore Defaults" button remains visible
giving the illusion that the it applies to the selected tab, however it applies to all the tabs.
e.g. I am in the user tab and would like to restore the default for e-mail address and generation of delta's,
if I press restore defaults I loose my filter settings, as they are moved to defaults as well :-(

The simplest is to move each tab to its own page so each can be independent of each other.

After talking to Sebastien, the application has the decision of what properties to update upon selection of the "REstore Defaults' button,
so the simplest solution is to restore the preferences of the selected tab only.

The title of this bug has been changed to reflect the proposed solution.
Comment 2 Sebastien Dubois CLA 2011-10-21 12:08:56 EDT
After some investigation, because of the filed editors, it is not possible to restore defaults per tab. So we will have to split the preferences into 4 sub-pages
Comment 3 Alvaro Sanchez-Leon CLA 2012-04-18 20:04:36 EDT
Shall not be in Assigned state if assigned to default r4e-triaged
