My plan is to move TCF over to git tomorrow, Thurs, Sept 29. I need the SVN repo write access turned off at the beginning of the move. I was able to do that with CVS by taking ownership of all of the files and chmod-ing them when we were ready. Can we do this with the SVN repo too (I notice most of the files are owned by root there)?
To make this svn repo read only we'll need to do a couple of things: 1) update the auth file and remove write access to the tcf-dev group 2) Remove the http access acl I can do both of those. What time do you want me to make these changes? -M.
Any time after 10 a.m. would be great. As soon as you turn it off I'll start creating the git repos.
BTW, since I can't log into git.eclipse.org any more, I don't have access to the mkrepo command we used over there to create new git repos. I think I know how to do it by hand, but it would be nice if the script was copied over to build.
The initrepo script is already on build, and you should have access to it. I can create the repo for you if you'd like. -M.
(In reply to comment #4) > The initrepo script is already on build, and you should have access to it. Ah, I forgot the name of it. Explains why I couldn't find it :). > I can create the repo for you if you'd like. No, I got it. I'm doing some messaging to the repos as we convert it.
Ok you should be all set. -M.
