In the project explorer, the link with editor mode is not working with graphiti editors.
In contrast, with the package explorer it works.

Linking between editors and corresponding diagram nodes is implemented with extension point "org.eclipse.ui.navigator.linkHelper" and class EditorLinkHelper. In method findSelection the file which represents the DiagramEditorInput is reconstructed and wrapped into a StructuredSelection. This should be found then by the CommonNavigator.
