if i copy from nautilus (gnome file manager) or dolphin (kde file manager) it just works. but on thunar it does not work.

i've opened some time ago a bug on thunar bugzilla: 
https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6826

the problem remains the same.

I cannot reproduce this issue using Thunar on Fedora 28, with GTK3.22 and 4.8 M7.
