1.1.0.201109151100-r.

Git > Configuration preference page: I cannot enter the location: the text field is read only and the 'Open' button doesn't browse the file system.

The 'Open' button opens the config file in a text editor, I think the button text could be more clear.

The location fields are read-only since it uses configuration paths that are Git defaults and cannot be changed.

Couldn't EGit feed the .gitconfig location that I set as user through the UI? Currently I have to do this externally by setting 'HOME' and while I can change the default location for Git repositories I can't do so for the global .gitconfig file.
