the git polling for job tycho-nightly

https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/job/tycho-nightly/scmPollLog/?

seems to hang since Sep 22.

('git fetch' never returns)

In the meantime I changed the git URL to 

git://git.eclipse.org/gitroot/tycho/org.eclipse.tycho.git

It should poll every 15 mins  but the polling just doesn't get updated.

BTW fetching from the new git URL works when I start the build manually, see

This happens every so often and the only solution we've found is a restart of hudson.  I'll try to get a restart in today.  

Hopefully the upgrade in a week or so will resolve this.
