Screen shot of the greyed menu commands under "Window"

When I try to install Riena Assembly Editor, then:
- a lot of commands are deactivated (they are greyed in the menu)
especially the Preferences one and the options for the Show View.
- any shortcut opens a dialog asking to validate the associated command.

I did it with the update site download.eclipse.org/rt/riena/3.0.0.0/toolbox.
I unchecked the "Contact all update sites" as specified on wiki.eclipse.org/index.php?title=Riena/GettingStarted.

This happens as soon as any one of these plugins is already installed:
- M2Eclipse
- Subclipse
- Spring Source Tool

There is no problem with Riena Previewer and Riena UI Wizard.

I'm working with Eclipse Indigo, IDE for JEE Developers, under Windows XP Pro.

Sounds like RAP was accidently installed during Toolbox installation. Do you have any org.eclipse.rap or org.eclipse.rwt bundles in your plugins folder? If so, just delete them and restart eclipse.

You are right. There are many org.eclipse.rap bundles in the plugins folder of the installation with the problem. As soon as I removed them, when Eclipse restarts, everything is fine.

Some bundles in Riena have optional dependencies to RAP. So we have to add a p2.inf to all bundles with optional dependencies to prevent p2 from installing rcp and rap as well. This was fixed in Riena last week and we built a new Toolbox, that doesn't accidently install RAP
