Created attachment 203887 [details] SWT packaged app Attached is the simple packaged SWT snippet. It contains a CLabel and Combo box. When it is run against Arabic environment on Mac Lion, the dropdown goes far away from the combo.
Silenio, are we positioning the combo's list ? I would expect that cocoa was doing that for us.
SWT does not do anything to position the Combo list. Praveen, how do you run Mac Lion in Arabic mode?

System Preferences -> Language & Text -> Drag Arabic language into the top of the list (the word is written in arabic native language - it might not be straight forward to recognize it directly. Since the other languages in native language are chinese, it would be relatively easy to spot the arabic language). Restarting the Eclipse/attached sample app would launch them in Arabic environment. The menu items will be mirrored when they are launched in the Arabic language.
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. Can't reproduce with Eclipse 4.11 on macOS 10.14. Please reopen if problem still happens.
