Description Alvaro Steiger CLA 2011-09-20 11:21:05 EDT
Build Identifier: M20090211-1700

Sometimes when clicking on the text editor area the already selected text is deleted. I tried to reproduce it and could only find a way that makes this bug appear every time (see Steps to Reproduce below), but I am sure this happens after doing other things than File Search.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select text in open file in text editor
2. Perform a File Search
3. Left click on editor area

The selected text is deleted

Could not reproduce with I20110915-1308 on Windows XP.

Another way to reproduce it:

1) Open a file and select some text.
2) Right click on an open project and select Team and then select Switch to another Branch/Tag/Revision.
3) Cancel the dialog clicking on Cancel button
4) Left click on the editor area -> Selected text is deleted.

I can still not reproduce this. In which editor does this happen?
Comment 5 Alvaro Steiger CLA 2011-09-27 09:27:49 EDT
I tested and could reproduce it in Text Editor, C/C++ Editor and Java Editor.

Now I am trying to reproduce it on Indigo I20110613-1736 but couldn't yet, at least the way I can on Ganymede.
