Fixed in 3.8 Branch.

(API extension on SmartFields)

Pleas merge following files to 3.9 and 3.10:
ISmartField.java
AbstractSmartField

RwtScoutSmartField.java
SwingScoutSmartField.java
SwtScoutSmartField.java

The change contributed by Oli Schmid enables the configuring the hight of the selection pop up in a smart field.

The other issue with the width of the pop up still exists and has to be fixed.

The Scout release of this bug is no longer supported in the open source domain. In case you need a fix and the bug is still present in the currently supported Scout consider to reopen the bug. Thanks.
