Description Ed Willink CLA 2011-09-16 14:05:44 EDT
Please migrate the CVS at

dev.eclipse.org:/cvsroot/modeling/org.eclipse.m2m/org.eclipse.qvt.declarative

to a new git repository at

git.eclipse.org/gitroot/m2m/org.eclipse.qvtd.git
Comment 1 Eclipse Webmaster CLA 2011-09-19 15:04:50 EDT
When is a good time for this? Now, next week?

Comment 2 Ed Willink CLA 2011-09-19 16:12:57 EDT
Any time, M2M/QVTd has been a bit idle, I'm starting to reactivate.
Comment 3 Eclipse Webmaster CLA 2011-09-22 15:06:10 EDT
Ok, I've created /gitroot/m2m/org.eclipse.qvtd.git. Can you take a look and confirm everything is as you expect?

Good and bad.

Seems ok for ssh access, but not for git or http.

For instance http://git.eclipse.org/c/m2m/org.eclipse.qvtd.git shows nothing.

I suspect an erroneous protection, perhaps on m2m which is also new.

Fixed.

Comment 6 Ed Willink CLA 2011-10-14 07:46:31 EDT
Repository seems fine thanks.

The MDT/OCL repo appeared automatically as https://github.com/eclipse/ocl/network.

M2M/QVTd seems not to be mirrored. Is it because of a time lag from new commits?
Comment 7 Eclipse Webmaster CLA 2011-10-14 09:53:32 EDT
Sorry I don't understand. What mirroring?

Is anyone still using the CVS repo or can I set it to read only?

I was expecting something like https://github.com/eclipse/qvtd/network to work.

Yes. Please set it read-only. (And MDT/OCL too if not already read-only.)
Comment 9 Eclipse Webmaster CLA 2011-10-14 10:52:13 EDT
Ok, I've set the repos as read only.

I don't really deal with the mirrors(Chris A. is point on that), but my limited understanding is that git hub runs/syncs the mirrors every couple of weeks.

I'll assume all is well here. Please reopen if not.
