Description Steffen Pingel CLA 2011-09-15 06:07:12 EDT
1. Open .ecore file in Ecore editor
2. Select elements

The selected elements are not added to the context.

That worked some time ago - might be time for some regression tests ;)
Comment 2 Miles Parker CLA 2011-09-15 14:08:52 EDT
If you have some to suggest, I'm all ears. The existing tests would not have passed if this was happening in common cases, and obviously I would have noticed immediately if this was broken. So we're looking at an unanticipated usage here or some other error. Steffen, anything in the error log?
Comment 3 Miles Parker CLA 2011-09-15 14:10:15 EDT
Wiat, Steffen, do you mean in the Ecore Tree editor? That never worked, and won't until we address this bug 352173.
Comment 4 Steffen Pingel CLA 2011-09-15 14:34:57 EDT
Does the editor not register the tree viewer as the selection provider? Even if we don't provide focusing it would be nice if selection events were honored.

Good point. I think there was some issue with this, but I can't remember what it was now. I'll look into it.
Comment 6 Miles Parker CLA 2011-09-26 23:06:03 EDT
Since this actually reflects a missing feature, I'm going to mark it as enhancement and move to child of main release. We'll still take care of it for release.
