Build Identifier: 0.7.0.v201109131140 a) Add any bookmark. b) Open the 'Bookmarks' view, click the 'Description' column in the bookmark created in the 1st step. c) Enter a new value, and press enter. d) Firstly it still display the old value, and after about 1 second, the value is updated to the new value. The behavior looks strange for users. Reproducible: Always
I think it is just the eclipse's problem. If you can check the javaeditor. add a bookmarker and change the value in the first column. you will find nothing different. So this is not a EGL problem... I think we don't need to do anything on this. We can't change eclipse's code anyway. So please ignore it.

I don't agree with you, - if it's possible to fix the problem by overwriting the methods in components, then you can fix it by overriding the methods. - if it's impossible to fix the problem in EDT, then a defect should be open against Eclipse.
