Description Miles Parker CLA 2011-09-14 18:06:02 EDT
We should probably support the ability to alt-click to quickly show all elements in the editor.
Comment 1 Steffen Pingel CLA 2011-09-14 18:10:44 EDT
Alt+click is "deprecated". Let's discuss this unless it's trivial to implement.
Comment 2 Miles Parker CLA 2011-09-14 18:13:09 EDT
Cool, it's not trivial, I really don't think it's that useful, and I'd rather not do it :) -- I was just wondering if we needed it for consistency with the Java and other editors.
Comment 3 Miles Parker CLA 2011-09-14 22:04:22 EDT
Curious though, what will replace this functionality for tree viewers?
Comment 4 Steffen Pingel CLA 2011-09-15 04:39:06 EDT
Alt+click is still working but the "+" Hover is now the recommended affordance for temporary unfiltering.
Comment 5 Miles Parker CLA 2011-09-15 22:05:57 EDT
OK, that obviously isn't appropriate for this case as we're already handling that case transparently.

I was wondering about because of the message that you get when you open say the package explorer. "Emtpy task context,.." I'd like to put something like that in the diagram if nothing is currently revealed, so if I do I'll just leave out the 'alt-click' part. thanks.
Comment 6 Steffen Pingel CLA 2011-09-16 05:18:30 EDT
Sorry, I thought we were talking about the Ecore editor, not the diagram editor.
