Thanks, Azza <response_by> William Fu at 2011.09.08.21.28.08 </response_by> This problem exists in both Eclipse 3.7 and Eclipse 4.1 for Arabic. However, I'm transfering this to Platform/UI rather than e4. Please do also let the e4 developer know about this. <response_by> Kathy Li at 2011.09.08.22.47.52 </response_by> It is not a defect. This Works as Design on Win7 OS. On Win7 OS including EN and NL stations, when menu options are grayed out, the icons don't show up, but when you move your cursor to the grayed out menu option, icon shows up. The screenshots for those 2 test cases in TTT were taken from English XP, not on Win7, that's why icons are showing up even menu options are grayed out. Hope my explanation helps. Kathy

<response_by> Keith Chuang at 2011.09.09.02.53.37 </response_by> Hi Azza, I've changed the theme on your machine to windows 7 theme. It looks like it is caused by the theme on windows. Please find the attachment. :) Regards, Keith

DJ, this is happening in English too on Win7. Do you consider this a problem?
(In reply to comment #9) > DJ, this is happening in English too on Win7. Do you consider this a problem? SWT, please advise. It seems that themes are affecting the visibility of disabled icons on menu items.
This bug happens when classic theme is used. The language does not matter. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 348481 ***
