When a job is submitted using JAXB, the jobid (step) is set to the pid of the mpirun command. However the ompi-ps command does not report this value, insted it uses it's own internal jobid. This causes the display to be updated with two jobs, one with the pid and one with the internal jobid, since these are used to match jobs in the UI.

With Open MPI 1.4.3 and earlier, there is no way to reliably provide an id that matches that reported by mpirun and ompi-ps. The only option is to use the -v argument to ompi-ps which displays a status message containing both ids on stderr.

This problem should be corrected in later versions of Open MPI.
