When comparing two files from different branches, the compare window opens, but the file on the right (compare with) is always empty. 
Also, when comparing thwo branches, or folders within branches, it appears always that the branch being compared to does not contain any files.

I have checked out these branches from SVN, they exist locally, I can use diff locally, but cannot get Eclipse to diff/compare these files.

Appreciate your help/advice with this.

This sounds like a Subversive issue to me, let them comment first.
