Description Will Smythe CLA 2011-09-01 08:17:33 EDT
The EGL > SQL page was introduced in bug 355909. There appeared to be some settings on it that are no longer applicable because EDT does not currently support some of the data types listed.

Please work with Matt, etc to figure out which settings are no longer applicable.

Matt, Could you take a look at SQL Preference page and list out which options are not needed.

  thanks
Comment 2 Matt Heitz CLA 2011-09-06 10:03:53 EDT
Tim, you should review the options on the preferences page and suggest changes since you own the SQL design.

The data types we support are: string, boolean, int, bigint, smallint, float, smallfloat, decimal, number, date, time, and timestamp.

From Matt's comment, unicode/char/mbchar are not currently supported, so I can remove them from SQL preference page; How about limited-length string, seems not supported yet?
Comment 4 Matt Heitz CLA 2011-09-06 23:05:27 EDT
Correct. Limited-length string isn't supported either.

I suggest you wait until Tim responds before changing any code.
