Description Konstantin Komissarchik CLA 2011-08-29 18:21:36 EDT
For Juno release, the primary platform (base of packages and in the public repository) is going to be 4.2 (as opposed to 3.8). To align with that direction, Sapphire needs to support Eclipse 4.2 release.

This tracks the initial build work to make 4.2 the primary dev/target platform. Runtime issues related to Eclipse 4.2 will be tracked via separate bugs.

Note that Sapphire 0.4 release will support Eclipse 3.6, 3.7 and 3.8 in addition to 4.2. Since 0.4 will ship earlier, support for 3.8 and 4.2 will be based on then available latest milestone build.
Comment 1 Konstantin Komissarchik CLA 2011-08-29 18:25:11 EDT
Build work completed. Worked around one minor build failure (resulting from use of internal platform API). Eclipse 4.2 is now the dev/target platform.

Verify that sapphire is build using Eclipse 4.2.
