Currently, certain non-alphanumeric shortcuts cannot be used in RAP on every keyboard layout, for example "/" or "?", which are common in web2.0 applications. The reason is that we detect shortcuts based on their keycodes, which can be mapped to different characters on different keyboard layouts. To support those shortcuts, we'd need to be able to detect them depending on charcodes instead.
It would be a good idea to fix or close bug 335597 before implementing this feature.
Fixed in CVS HEAD. Because bug 335597 is not yet fixed, there might be two server requests for one keystroke in some cases.
