the borders around cells are not showing correctly. Only certain sides of the cell has a border.  this is when the birt report is designed in birt and deployed on jdeveloper integrated websphere server.

May be you not check the "All Borders" in the border tab? 
If not, can you attach some image or report? So we can reproduce the problem.
