Users should be able to turn off sync error messages that occur during automatic sync'ing (such as when a file is saved). There should also be a way to permanently disable error messages about connection failures. Icons should be added to give users feedback on sync status.

A toggle box for disabling error messages now appears for automatic syncs. Clicking the box disables error messages until the next successful sync, when presumably the problem has been solved. This has been added to HEAD and Release. Disabling of connection errors and icons still need to be added.

The main part of this bug was fixed long ago, and the rest is rather vague. So closing as fixed. UI enhancements, defined more specifically, can be requested in a new bug.
