Description Hristo Iliev CLA 2011-08-23 07:42:46 EDT
Currently Spring framework 2.5.6 is included in the range of supported versions.

Spring 2.5.6 cannot use Servlet 3 from Tomcat 7 and therefore is not compatible with Virgo 3.0.

Therefore we can reduce the range of supported Spring versions to start with "[3.0"

Hristo has updated the FAQ to mention this in respect of changing the version of Spring framework in the user region: http://wiki.eclipse.org/Virgo/FAQ#How_can_I_change_the_version_of_Spring_framework_in_the_user_region.3F
Comment 2 Hristo Iliev CLA 2011-09-09 15:37:20 EDT
Spring 3.1.x is not currently supported. We may extend the version from 3.0.x to 3.1.x
