Advanced tabs gone. They aren't there anymore. They are useful.

Reproducible: Always

please describe in what way they were useful. There was not added value provided apart from displaying the fields in a form and often the populating and editing of the fields was broken.

I would also like to point out that m2e pom editor is extensible and it is possible to contribute new tabs via org.eclipse.m2e.editor.pageFactories extension point. You or somebody else can reintroduce Advanced tabs or some new/interesting features to pom.xml editor using this extension point and make it available for installation via Eclipse marketplace, for example.
