Hi, In order to use the latest Tycho version (still a snapshot, not released) I have added to my maven pom.xml file the following plugin repository: http://repository.sonatype.org/content/groups/sonatype-public-grid/ Since them all MAT builds time out, because loading the necessary plugins takes too long: https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/job/tycho-mat-nightly/ . It seems some plugins do get downloaded, therefore I guess access is possible, but very slow. Am I making some error, or is this expected to be so? Running the same build locally (SAP in Germany) works just fine. Below is some output from a job which failed. There one can see some requests timed out, and some were fine. This is the only error for Sonatype I could find in the logs [19/Aug/2011:02:36:31 -0400] "GET http://repository.sonatype.org/content/groups/sonatype-public-grid/org/eclipse/tycho/tycho-maven-plugin/0.13.0-SNAPSHOT/tycho-maven-plugin-0.13.0-SNAPSHOT.jar HTTP/1.1" 404 330 "-" "Apache-Maven/3.0 (Java 1.6.0_21; Linux 2.6.27.54-0.2-xen)" But it doesn't match based on the timestamp. I did find this which seems to line up with one of your failures: [19/Aug/2011:02:51:08 -0400] "GET http://intalio.org/public/maven2/org/eclipse/tycho/tycho-maven-plugin/0.13.0-SNAPSHOT/maven-metadata.xml HTTP/1.1" 301 393 "-" "Apache-Maven/3.0 (Java 1.6.0_21; Linux 2.6.27.54-0.2-xen)" Which currently results in a 404. As far as I know things should just work. -M.
Thanks for looking at this! I noticed we were still using maven 3.0 and gave it a try using 3.0.3. Surprising for me this solved the problem? So I'm not quite sure what exactly the problem was, but I am happy that it is gone now - closing the ticket.
