When I am editing some files in the Manifest editor the following error appears. I am running on Eclipse 3.6.2 on Windows 7. After the error, a pop up appear stating that an error has appeared in the workbench and that I need to restart my Eclipse. Created attachment 201773 [details] screenshot of the error I am running on a dual monitor configuration on windows 7. I open a MANIFEST.MF from a new plugin project and I open next to it another MANIFEST.MF from another project because my new project needs the same configuration as the other project. I want to create a new extension similar to the one on my other project (a pop up menu "org.eclipse.ui.popupMenus") and if I select something in the other editor editor the error appear. In the screenshot, I had just added the new extension in the editor on the left and I clicked in the editor on the right to see how the other extension was defined. I clicked just under the "org.eclipse.ui.popupMenus" in the tree viewer to have the focus on this editor and the error appear. After that I can click pretty much anywhere in one of those editors but if it changes he focus from one editor to the other the problem appear.
I suspect this is a duplicate of bug 355199.

(In reply to comment #4) > Whoops, I mean bug 351398. :) From what I have seen the problem was coming in this bug entry from MultiMon Taskbar 2.1, I don't have this software installed but I am using DisplayFusion 3.3.1 to have a different wallpaper on each screen. After deactivating it, the problem seems to have disappear. The problem also appears in Eclipse 3.7.0.
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. If the bug is still relevant, please remove the "stalebug" whiteboard tag.
