Build Identifier: I20110519-1138 Run the attached code on a Mac OS X (my version is 10.6.7). In the first text box, type a few regular characters (say a then b then c). The console output I get is as follows: Text: a (1 chars) Text: ab (2 chars) Text: abc (3 chars) As expected. Now, hold down Ctrl-Alt(Option) and type and 'r' with the focus in the text box. I get this: Text: abc (4 chars) The "space" or whatever it is does not show up in the Text box. However if I backspace one char I get: Text: abc (3 chars) So clearly the Text thinks it is there. Reproducible: Always
