Description Cameron Bateman CLA 2011-08-16 13:26:17 EDT
Build Identifier: I20110519-1138

Run the attached code on a Mac OS X (my version is 10.6.7). In the first text box, type a few regular characters (say a then b then c). The console output I get is as follows:

Text: a (1 chars)
Text: ab (2 chars)
Text: abc (3 chars)

As expected. Now, hold down Ctrl-Alt(Option) and type and 'r' with the focus in the text box. I get this:

Text: abc (4 chars)

The "space" or whatever it is does not show up in the Text box. However if I backspace one char I get:

Text: abc (3 chars)

So clearly the Text thinks it is there.

Reproducible: Always

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

If the bug is still relevant, please remove the "stalebug" whiteboard tag.
