Description Garry Sager CLA 2011-08-16 06:19:21 EDT
Build Identifier: M20100909-0800

We extend the property pages with this extension point with this enablement
<enabledWhen><instanceof value="org.eclipse.core.resources.IProject"/> </enabledWhen> Our extension point displays in the property view when started from project explorer or navigator but when started from the package explorer these property pages are not displayed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Add an extension point org.eclipse.ui.propertyPage
2.make it enabled based on IProject
3.right click on project in package explorer the added property page is not displayed
4. Do it from navigator or project explorer it displays
Comment 1 Remy Suen CLA 2011-08-16 07:40:10 EDT
The 'Package Explorer' is showing IJavaProjects and not IProjects. You should make your enabledWhen clause adapt to IProject to fix this problem.
Comment 2 Dani Megert CLA 2011-08-16 07:52:38 EDT
Use

       <enabledWhen>
		 <adapt type="org.eclipse.core.resources.IProject">
		 </adapt>
       </enabledWhen>
