This changeset:
  http://trac.objectteams.org/ot/changeset/15902
introduced a workaround re bug 142299 which has been fixed by now.

Thus we should reconsider the activation strategy in OutlineAdaptor
and HighlightingAdaptor so see if we can simplify things.

Workaround is indeed no longer needed and has been removed via https://git.eclipse.org/c/objectteams/org.eclipse.objectteams.git/commit/?id=01fba80f6af45e3fb28ab718b8e11ab806a55244
