I20110811 I went to the Git Status page on a project that has no outgoing changes of any kind. Local master is clean and up to date. However I get a scary message, "Rebase in progress" on the status page. Why is a rebase in progress, I didn't ask it to do anything yet !? I'm also confused why it's prompting me to "Choose action" and Change committer/author information.

I'm not seeing this any more. I think I had a stale server.
Reopening. I consistently see this using I20110606-2200. It appears briefly as the status page is loading, and then disappears.

Libing, any idea where is the message coming from?
(In reply to comment #6) > Libing, any idea where is the message coming from? I am not sure why the code was there because some body else added that when rebase feature was added. But the code is in GitRebaseZoneRenderer.render in git-status-table.js. I was wondering why this message was rendered there. We should ask the author.
I'm not able to reproduce. I guess it was raised against the old status page.
