We seem to have made a mistake with our .gitignore file which made me unable to stage a new file. 'Team > Add' seemed to do nothing. Using 'git add -f $' from the command line worked. Is there a way to force the add from the UI?

We could ask a question when we see ignored files in the set of selected resources.
