Description Moritz Eysholdt CLA 2011-08-10 14:30:46 EDT
MyEPackage not yet available when injector is created.

This is a problem because in AbstractMyJavaValidator.getEPackages() tries to fetch it from the registry.

However, in MyStandaloneSetupGenerated the injector is clearly created before the EPackage is registered.

AbstractMyJavaValidator.getEPackages() is executed while the injector is created because validators are bound eagerly.

We should keep this in mind for the redesigned validation infrastructure.
Comment 3 Sven Efftinge CLA 2012-11-23 02:09:52 EST
We won't (as I don't see how) fix it for the current validation infrastructure. And if we come up with something new, it should be defined for the language (as every other service) not for the EPackage.
So it won't be an issue at all.
