Build Identifier: 3.7 See attached picture: When importing projects works once the next use of the dialog will default to the previously successful location: good! :) However, on linux this leads to gtk showing a directory-browse dialog that is not usable as-is. The OK button does not work, the user has to select something in the "Name" field to continue. This will lead to the user selecting a specific project rather than selecting a general location to start searching. The desired behavior here would have been to: - open the browse dialog one directory up the tree (rome_rb), and - have "plugins" selected in the Name field. That way the user can simply press "OK" and gets the exact same directory (s)he got last time.. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use "Import existing projects wizard" once successfully 2. Reuse the wizard: Browse: It will try to open the previous location, but incorrectly 3. Manually go one directory up, select plugins, acknowledge the dialog

On Eclipse 4.6M6 this is not an issue anymore, the dialog is usable by default, without changing anything, OK works, so I think this could be closed. Can you try this with a more recent eclipse+gtk and see if this is still an issue for you?
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie.
