Build Identifier: I am using Subversive for svn Jira connector for Mylyn. When commiting to Svn, the comments are not set with the Mylyn template. I have on both on Indigo or Helios my Mylyn 3.6 (the latest release as of today) and they both fail. I have tried on Helios, the previous release of Mylyn 3.4 and it works like a charm. There seems to be a problem with the latest 3.6 release in that mater. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. dowload Indigo RCP and Rap package, install all subversive plugin (including team provider) 2.install jira connector. 3.modify some code 4.open the commit dialog No comments there.
You need to install the Subversive Mylyn Integration in order to get this functionality. Moving to Subversive project in case there is something else broken.
I did install Subversive SVN Integration for the Mylyn Project (Optional) (Incubation) 0.7.9.I20110602-1700 org.eclipse.team.svn.mylyn.feature.group Eclipse.org feature also but the problem is still there.
I also recommend verifying the requirements for (CVS) change set tracking listed in the FAQ: http://wiki.eclipse.org/Mylyn/FAQ#Why_does_task_change_set_not_appear_when_I_modify_files.3F

This is working for me with the latest atlassian jira connector (3.0.1) released today (12 august 2011). This can be close if you will.
Thank you for all the information provided. I've checked how integration works with Bugzilla and Trac connectors and found that it works just fine. Also considering it works with the latest Jira connector too I'll assume it was Jira connector-related issue.
Some changes were made to the monitoring of files that get added to change sets in Mylyn 3.6: bug 162007. I wonder if this has caused a regression with the SVN integrations. If anyone is still experiencing problems with the automatic commit message please post your Mylyn and Eclipse platform version and if this was previously working, the version you were using before. Thanks.
I thought the pb was corrected with the latest Jira Connector but this is not the case. I now get automatic comments but they are not related to the active task. It is as if the comment was using the task that was active the first time a modification occured. But when I switch task and try to commit the modification on this task, I always get the comment of the previous task.
