the Asia.model seems not to find the data anymore. The simulation will start, but as far as I could see nothing happens.

Matthias, This is not a bug. Please see on the main page (http://www.eclipse.org/stem/) the instructions Demonstrates how the earth science data can be used to generate seasonal mosquito density estimates in Asia. Requires installation of the optional 2010 'Earth Science Data Feature' from the STEM update site and the Global Geography and Global Earth Science models (below). where 'Earth Science Data Feature' = a link to the documentation for features. Please see the documentation on adding features here: http://wiki.eclipse.org/STEM_Installation_Guide#Installing_Additional_STEM_Features and here http://wiki.eclipse.org/STEM_Addons Once we have readme files enables we can also add these links to the readme (bug 353750) Once we added 10 years of earth science data it was no longer possible to keep every feature in the base distribution (the file size would get to large). The Eclipse infrastructure for "Features" gives us a very powerful way for users to get add-ons. This example scenario is intended to show them how to do that. Please also see the doc on the downloads page itself for this scenario. http://www.eclipse.org/stem/downloads.php Please let me know if we need to say something on the main page and or downloads page to make certain users understand and to direct them to the installation guide. That's what we want them too look at. I'll assign this bug to you till we get the download instructions right. When you think they are ok please close this marked as 'not a bug'

I think I did all what has been written there (including the data). Any idea what I missed?
Matthias, Do you also have the downloadable example projects GlobalGeography and GlobalEarthScienceModels installed on your system? Also, which year(s) of earthscience data features did you install?
> Do you also have the downloadable example projects > GlobalGeography and GlobalEarthScienceModels > installed on your system? Yes, as you can see in the screenshot. I imported both projects. > Also, which year(s) of earthscience data features did you install? 2010 I just veryfied this behaviour on my private notebook with Windows XP as well.
Matthias, Please launch STEM (your installation) and enter >Help>About STEM then please click the button "Installation Details" You should see a dialog Select the "Installed software" tab. Please send me or attach a screenshot of this dialog. That should help us diagnose the problem

Hi Matthias, I think this was a confusion on our part. We forgot to add the updated Earth Science models to the downloads page (they were only listed on the front page). We've added a new file under the downloadable scenarios and models that is for version 1.2.1. See "Global Earth Science Models (1.2.1 and newer)" on http://www.eclipse.org/stem/downloads.php Direct link: http://www.eclipse.org/stem/download_sample.php?file=GlobalEarthScience121.zip In STEM, delete the old GlobalEarthScience project and import from the new archive. Also, I noticed on Windows we received a VM OutOfMemory error when running under the default STEM JVM settings. I'm going to bump up the default memory size for RC4 & the release, but if you want to modify it yourself, you can edit STEM.ini that sits next to STEM.exe. Right now it's -Xmx600M, I set mine to -Xmx1024M
Works fine now. Thanks.
