I am wondering if the "Open corresponding tasks" shouldn't (try) to open task editors / browser editors for each of the tasks in the history, not just the first.

The parsing mechanism is indeed limited to one task at the moment and we generally encourage to only reference one task per commit. I think this a valuable suggestion though that we should consider supporting.
