Description user CLA 2011-07-29 11:07:50 EDT
Build Identifier: 20110615-0604

I installed indigo and imported my existing project.
When opening XML files for the first I receive a message stating:

"multiple problems have occured"
"could not resolve the node to a handle"
"refreshing xpath view" ..n

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. delete .metadata
2. install indigo
3. install subclipse plugin
4. install jboss 3.3 tools
5. import existing project (jsp/hibenate/spring mvc w/ jboss 4.0.5)
6. eclipse ran build
7. double clicked on XML Problem warning in markers
8. get error
if you reopen the same XML file the error does not come back. Seems to happen on first opening only so far.

edit: occurs when double clicking through the markers window every time, not just first opening, but not if i double click the the file itself in navigator/project explorer.

I've seen this too, just today, while testing the JavaScript IDE for Juno M1. Oddly, it happened when I created a new HTML file. I had the web perspective open at the time, but the XML perspective was still "open" on another tab. Sort of makes me wonder if the XPath view is listening a little too much, not "detaching" itself when its not in use? Just a thought.

This feels like a Data Vu - a creeping feeling you've fixed this particular bug before.

Taking a closer look.
