Description Laura Willey CLA 2011-07-28 11:17:55 EDT
Build Identifier:

The help system for RBD includes samples that can be accessed from the product only. When users try to access the samples from the online IC (http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/rbdhelp/v8r0m0/index.jsp), they get the message shown in the attachment.

As you can see, the text isn't the clearest. It should be something more like this: "You can do this task only if you are working in the product and accessing the help system from there."

If space is an issue, here are some shorter options as well:
--"You must run the help system from within the product to do this task."
--"To do this task, you must use the help system in the product."

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the RBD online IC at http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/rbdhelp/v8r0m0/index.jsp
2. Click Samples > Technology samples > EGL > Rich UI access to LDAP.
3. Click 'Get the sample.'

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

If the bug is still relevant, please remove the "stalebug" whiteboard tag.
