I reproduced the issue in eclipse 3.7. Works fine in 3.6
(In reply to comment #0) > 3. Delete the project from work space Did you select "Delete project contents on disk" what doing this?
Please see comment 4.
This bug is still present in 3.8.1 and 4.2.1. 1. delete a project from workspace but not from disk 2. try to import it again ==> does not work
Workaround: 1. deselect 'Copy projects into workspace' 2. click 'Refresh'
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie.
Works for me using 4.12 M1.
