Description Norman Yee CLA 2011-07-26 15:01:06 EDT
Build Identifier: 20110615-0604

The first time a user opens the expressions view, it appears with horizontal
layout (details of selection are displayed to the right) whereas the first
time a user opens the variables and registers views they appear with vertical
layout (details of selection are displayed underneath).

Obviously, once the user discovers the layout options under the local pull-down menu they can choose for themselves the layout they want.

However, it would be nice if all these views used the same layout initially.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a Hello world C project
2. Build it
3. Create a debug launch configuration for it and launch it
4. Open the Registers and Variables views. Note that the details pane of those two views are displayed on the bottom of the view.
5. Open the Expressions view. Note that the details pane is displayed on the right side of the view by default. It would be better to display it on the bottom to be consistent with the other two views.
