The current incarnation of LTTng processes existing traces. This enhancement is about handling streaming (live LTTng tracing). Since it is essentially TMF work, it should be re-usable for any type of trace.

Implemented for Legacy LTTng with bug 353020.

Delivered in 0.9.0.
