In the Java Package Explorer, I right-click and choose Import. I then choose Projects from Git and this give me a wizard where I can select the repository. Double-clicking on a repository should be equivalent to selecting one and hitting Next. The same for other pages in the wizard.

Double-clicking on a repository works now with 5b6af1c141e6aed0.
